New Electronic and IM law as of 12/1

As of 12/1/06, I hear new laws are in effect in regards to perserving electronic and IM evidence in case of litigation. What do they mean to employers? Thanks

some info

I imagine that there are many large law firms around the country that have this kind of information on their web sites, but you could start with the American Bar Association's website. Go to that site, use the search function for "electronic evidence." You'll get a list of books for sale and articles to read. There's one written in February 2006 that seems it could get you started.
