2. EMPLOYMENT LAWYER DIRECTORY

The Website encourages lawyers to apply to become members of My Employment Lawyer. We review Membership applications to verify that the applicant is holding him or herself out as an attorney in good standing practicing employment law. We do not certify that an applicant is an attorney or offer any due diligence regarding the applicant’s competence as an attorney.

The information in the directory of lawyers, including information “about me,” the lawyers’ websites, their peer ratings and published cases is provided by the lawyers themselves.  Fortney & Klingshirn does not warrant the validity of any of that information. Fortney & Klingshirn will delete from the Employment Lawyer directory and My Employment Lawyer membership any person who it learns is not an attorney.

The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed expertise. Fortney & Klingshirn does not review the contents of the listings which are provided by the listees or any links to Website; Fortney & Klingshirn is not responsible for any material or information contained in the linked sites or provided by listees. Contributors do not have the right to copy or reproduce any other information on the Website, including the aggregated body of work containing the information from the Contributors.
