Movie Theaters are exempt from federal overtime laws

The federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exempts employees of motion picture theaters from the FLSA's overtime requirements. 29 USC 213(b)(27). Ohio's overtime laws incorporate the FLSA's exemptions, so your son would be exempt from Ohio's overtime laws as well.External Links
