Was I wrongfully fired or is there anything I can do besides file for unemployment

I was the assistant manager at circle K1 day I was cleaning the bathrooms and the bathroom door in the women's bathroom was locked from within I went out and asked the kid if he could climb under the stall in unlock the bathroom stall door. Our bathrooms were just remodeled within 6 to 8 months prior. I Personally clean them every day, I sanitize the Floor after I get done mopping, it if I could fit under the bathroom stall door I would have done it myself but I'm a bigger person. The kid told his parents and a couple days later I was fired at the end of my shift because of asking the kid to unlock the bathroom door in his Parents got mad and called corporate in have Me fired. If the tables were turned in my child was asked to unlock the bathroom stall door I would have no problem With it, But I guess that's a matter of opinion.
