accused of calling a hosp to find out personal info on an employee-not true- my recourse?

An employee requested to change shifts. I denied the request. The employee has at least four reprimands of insubordination, post abandonment and inattiveness to duty. The employee filed false charges with the company stating that I call his hospital to to get personal info and for retaliation.
