Yes, I was laid off about 2 months now and have been seeking work back in my field of IT work, I worked as a equipment operator in the oil fields for 1 year. Now former company wanting to hire back at lower pay and is threatening to have my unemployment benefits taken away for refusing to go back to work for them. I now longer want to do this job and seeking better job opportunities and going back to school to get me degree in field of IT. Am I doing anything wrong for them to do this? And can they legally do this? Thank You in advance

It's not up to the employer. It's up to ODJFS. Read this: https://jfs.ohio.gov/unemp_comp_faq/faq_elig_maintain2.stm
