Where to report an employer who does not pay wages

Where do you report an employer who knowingly pays you on an account that does not have funds in it. I have filed a claim with the Labor Commissioner, but I'd like to report him to whoever will listen. I have one of the checks from the bank that bounced and there are other former employees in the same situation as I am. We are all waiting for 30 days pay.

insufficient funds

You can report the incident to your local District Attorney. It is illegal in California to issue a check knowing that it is worthless. Also it may be a misdemeanor under the Cal Labor Code.
