My unemployment Benefits were denied

I started a new job and was going to have my 90 days in by Aug 2011. I had my baby in June three months early, my job told me they could hold my postion for 3weeks only. I was denied unemployment because they said I had to be able to work or seeking work. I filed an appeal,and they told me I needed a reason why I filed an appeal. I'm able to work now and has been seeking work. What can I say for the reason?
