umemployment benefits

if I agree to a "VOLUNTEER CALL OUT" from my CO. I'am I agreeing to be layoff and therefore not eligible for unemployment benefits after my 26 week severance pay? the layoff is permanent with no chance of re-hire. I am worry about the "VOLUNTEER" part. will it be my choice and therefore be denied unemployment benefit after the severance pay has run out?

If Vonunteer Call Out means that they are putting you in leave, subjet to calling you back, and don't call you back, that is a lay off and you should be entilted to benefits. Hope this helps.
