My husband works for his dad as a satellite installer.

My husband works for his dad as a satellite installer, his "boss" had him working in the rain, on a roof, and he slipped and fell. on March 12th he has a compressed vertebrae in his back, and the Dr ordered 4-6 weeks of rest. (he DID not file it under work mans comp as he should have). His "boss" has made him work everyday, and he's only had may 5 days of rest. Since he didn't file it under workman's comp is there anything we can do, if his "boss" pushes him too far?
