Do I have a case?

I work with a mentally handicap man at his house and over the winter I was made to shovel our driveway 5 times in a 30 day span. We have people who are suppose to plow on a regular basis or if we inform them 3 hrs ahead of time they would come. If no one plows or shovels you cannot get out of the driveway to go home. After I shoveled the driveway for a third time because no one came up I injured my back. I went the next day and had some x rays taken and did what I had to do to inform them of my injury. 3 days later I gave a good 3 hrs for someone to come up to plow but no one came and I had to shovel the driveway myself. Two days later I gave 12 hrs notice that the driveway needed to be shoveled and I was told that the plow person was out of town and I again had to shovel the driveway. I went in to have meetings with my supervisor and the person above her and asked them what could be done to have this issue taken care of. I was told my the program specialist that everything was taken care of and that I would never have to shovel the driveway again. But that never happened. I have went and had an MRI about 2 weeks ago and I am going to an appointment on 6/17 to see the doctor. I had a previous back injury that I notified my employer about but that didn't seem to change their mind about the situation

If you were injured on the job, you should contact a workers compensation lawyer.
