Do I go through EEOC before contacting an employment lawyer for wrongful termination?

I was terminated the following day by the maintenance employee
and not my supervisor after I made a complaint with my facility's Human Resource dept. regarding the (2 month) new executive directors actions and derogatory comments that other co-workers and I were being subjected to. I feel it was an act of retaliation and would like some legal advice please.

I represent individuials before the EEOC and after the EEOC and there is no fixed answer. So I would suggest contacting someone such as myself for some advice before filing but it is not absolutely necessary. I am available by phone and would be willing to do a short consult with you or schedule a more formal meeting. Another source for lawyers is www.welalaw.org
