why was I not given 30 day notice of my health insurance being cancelled
I was discharged from my employer on 8/15/12. I recently received notice from the health plan saying that my coverage ended on 8/16/12. They also included the cobra information. My understanding is that I am still covered for 30 days and then my option for cobra would begin. Is this true or no? Thank you.
