when should i get my last paycheck?

In the state of California, what is the time frame in which a last paycheck has to be given to the former employee if they quit. I've heard its 48 -72 hours after they quit. Can you help me out here?

When should I get my last paycheck.

I depends on whether you get straight pay or some commission the amount of which may not be able to be ascertained at the time of termination. Phone the California State Labor Commissioner for help with your specific situation. The phone number of the State Labor Commissioner in San Francisco is (415) 557-7878.
