what do I do about unfair pay for a company I have worked for almost 5 years?

I have been working for this company for almost 5 and have only received 3 raises with in that time period. I am a full-time stock management employee, paid hourly and receiving about 3 dollars less than the current full time management employees that have been there for only 2 years. I do the same amount of work, sometimes more. I have talked to my boss on various occasions about receiving a significant raise, considering all the work I do and how long I have been with the company. But there I never receive a straight answer on why I am not getting one or when or if it will ever be executed.
What can I do?

The law does not require an employer to pay you what you think you are worth. An employer is only required to pay minimum wage or the same pay to the same sex in the same job. Otherwise your wages area matter of negotiation between you and your employer. Evidently, your method of negotiation has been to date ineffective. Some suggestions for moving forward include taking a class or engaging in research on effective negotiation strategies and/or looking for a new job that will pay you what you think you are worth. Hopefully a new strategy will yield better results for you.
