terminated for doing what I was instructed to do.

In Dec. of '04 I injured my knee while delivering my mail. I reported the injury to management. And they failed to do an injury report. At the end of Jan. I realized that there isn't a report in my file. So request for something to be put in my file. Managemat gives me a bank sheet and asks me to write what happened. I state to him "I can't rememeber the date" and he states for me to get as close as I can to the date, so I do. In Mar. I get terminated for falsifing documents. Does this make it a false statement because I could not remember the date a month or so ago after carring several routes a week and management telling me to get as close as i can to the date?

You may have a Workerman's Comp Retaliation Case

Your employer probably fired you because you were going to file for Worker's Comp. It sounds like you may have a good case. Call us to discuss. (713) 227-2727 or 1-866-957-2727.
