repayment of severence pay if i get another job with ANY employer
my employer wants me to sign a severance agreement that states "you are entitled to X weeks severance pay, but you must not get another job within X weeks or the severance pay must be repaid". This is any job, not another job for a competing employer. I work in hi-tech. Can they recoup severance pay if i go flip burgers at MacDonalds within that specified time period??
