no commission detail provided by employer

my employer a cable company pays flat plus commission. when we get our weekly commision reports there is no detail of what orders the commission came from there is no way i can check if i'm actually being paid for the work i did. it has gotten so bad that if our commision drops and we question the department head that maybe she made a mistake many times it turns out that she has resulting in variances in the hundreds. this is a concern for the whole dept of 21

You have a right to know how your commissions are calculated.

Before I respond to your inquiry, I must state that we have not spoken, I have not reviewed the relevant documents and facts, and I do not represent you. Therefore, my discussion below is not a legal opinion, but is informational only. Finally, my discussion applies only to issues to which Pennsylvania or Federal law apply, unless otherwise specified.

That being said, you have a right to know how your commissions are calculated. If you have not been paid wages due, including commission amounts due, you may have a claim under the Wage Payment and Collection Law, which would allow you to collect your back wages, a 25% penalty, and your attorneys' fees. You should immediately request an accounting of your wages/commissions for at least the past year, in order to determine whether you've been paid correctly.

If you would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact me at the below address(es) or number.
