fired for drug use with no drug test or any proof.

I completed my contract with a fishing vessel and when i wanted to return HR told me i was on a 6 month suspension for substance abuse. I was never told anything about such thing up until the point i wanted to return. Was never given any type of notice or test. Hr forwarded my information to another individual who handles their drug cases. My question is do i have a right to sue and what would constitute my grounds?
