do i have a case?

i informed my boss of several safety violation in the work place. he still did not fix them. i reported him to osha and osha told him to fix them. he took certain pics and led them to believe that he was in the process of fixong them. he still did not fix the violations. the violations can be a risk to my health. i want to quit my job. do i have any kind of a case?

I don't know what you mean by any kind of case. Can you get unemployment? Yes, if you can show that the reason you quit was not voluntary, but because the workplace was a hazard to your health and welfare. Can you sue him under OSHA? Probably not, unless he does something to retaliate against you. I would contact OSHA and tell them about the employer's fraudulent action in leading them to believe the violations were fixed when they were not. I would let the employer know that's what you have done. If he then fires you in retaliation for having gone to OSHA, you've got a good case for retaliatory discharge.
