Salary and Hourly Differences
What is the difference between salary and hourly? Is it just based on overtime differences? If you leave an hour early when you're a salaried employee, can the employer deduct that hour from your salary?

If the employer deducts for the hour, taht is good evidence to suggest that you should be entitled to overtime when you work it. I would recommend that you consult your local office of the US Dept of Labor.
