My employer is closing down the business exactly one week before my anniversary date and is refusing to pay my one week vacation pay. He did promise it to me verbally when I was hired, but I have nothing in writing. Can I still get my vacation pay:?

My employer is closing down the business I work for exactly one week before my anniversary date when I would have earned one week of paid vacation. Am I still entitled to my vacation pay? He has nothing in writing, there are no employment manuals but I was verbally promised this when hired.
