My employer gave me a 30% pay cut after 3 months back at work after having a stroke. Is that legal?

The company I work for is at max 10 employees. I had a stroke and was gone for 4 months before going back to work. I'm grateful they kept my position open but now 3 months later they cut my pay of 30% and it's hurting my family especially since I'm the sole provider and had 4 months of not being paid added with all the medical bills. They said I wasn't at the level I used to be at and needed to be reminded how to do some things. I understand the pay cut as I'm not doing 100% the job I was hired to do but I wasn't expecting that much of a pay cut. Do I have any rights?
