My employer fired me saying that I was violent

He told the texas employment commission that I gritted my teeth and held a wrench up like I would hit him, called me violent. It simply wasn't true. I had a witness that saw the whole thing and could have backed me up but then he changed his story when he was put in front of a group and asked about it. What action can I take against my former employer. What can I do about this?
