Mileage and traveling

I live in Texas in a large medical office corporation. I travel between two sites 45 mins away from each other. They let me get mileage starting from my home to the further office only. I do not get paid hourly for my drive only mileage. Now they are adding on two more sites an hour away. Every day of the week is a different place. Now they tell me I can only get mileage from my closest home base. Yet everyone else in the company still claims from their house. Is this fair? If I refuse to travel I can't stay at my home base closest to me because no doctor will be there. I will have to work with a different doctor and still travel 45 mins each way.
