Internal auditor fired for internal audit findings, being disabled, and being on FMLA.

I was an internal auditor at a non profit receiving federal funds. I believe I was fired as a result of defamatory remarks conveyed to sponsors by a staff member regarding my performance as a result of valid audit findings resulting in the hiring of a quality director and Discrimination due to the unauthorized disclosure of my disability status to the HR Director, VP of Research and CEO by other senior management and the perceived high cost of my health insurance claims resulting from my chronic disability.I believe that the company also violated several state and federal laws including Texas Health Information Privacy laws including the Texas Medical Records Privacy Act by disclosing my disability status without my permission or authorization, Texas and Federal Whistleblower Protection Laws by retaliating or allowing retaliation in response to my performance as an internal auditor, The Americans with Disabilities Act by discriminating against me due to my disability, The Family and Medical leave Act by disciplinary action for not performing work when on leave, and Equal Employment Opportunity laws by the suggested retaliation against an employee should they pursue an appeals process as described in a company policy.
Do I have any recourse?
