Dispute 12month return rule due to medical emergency that lasted 14 weeks

worked for publix, had a medical emergency could not keep in contact, have to wait 12 months to work again can I dispute this?

Publix has an internal appeal process so try that.

If you were eligible and used FMLA for the 14 weeks you were off, you may have an FMLA claim. Call the Dept. of Labor 813-288-1242 to find out and file a charge if necessary.

If you were not eligible for FMLA it is probably not illegal but you should consult with an attorney to be sure you do not have any claims.
