In your opinion do you belive I have a case to sue the government - see below

I self nominated myself for WTEU11L580622RQ Health System Specialist on 15 November 2010, and was selected by the government and referred to the hiring manager for a interview. I emailed the hiring manager on 29 Nov 10, and expressed my desire for an interview. The hiring manger replied to my email on 02 Dec 09 and was encouraged that I had interest in the job, and told me that he would be setting up a schedule (13 Dec and 20 Dec 09) for interviews for all applicants. On 15 Dec 09 the hiring manager requested that I be available for an interview the following day at 230pm. With such a short suspense I asked if we could move a 330pm. This was due to a mandatory meeting that was to last one hour and I could not miss. The hiring manager could slip the interview to 3pm, but I still could not make his short suspense. I requested an alternative of 430pm that same day, but he denied the interview time.


On 25 January 2010, a female civilian personnel officer asked if I had denied an interview for the said position. She was very suspicious on the phone, because I was more that qualified. I told the civilian personnel manager that I had never denied the interview and had written correspondence to the fact that I offered the hiring manager alternatives for his urgent request for a next day interview. I was told by the civilian personnel officer to resubmit my application for the position and that she would tell her supervisor of the false stated denial by the hiring manager. On 22 February 2011, CPOL informed me that the position was closed, due to an applicant being selected for the job.I have email hard copy correspondence with the hiring manager.






Retaliation_reporting_illegal_conduct: I believe I was denied an employment opportunity by the hiring manager, and the Federal Government. The hiring manager made a false statement to the Federal Government, and knowingly the Federal Government allowed the hiring manager to hire another applicant without due process.



Retaliation_reporting_safety_complaints: I did not get the job, which wiould had been a career promtion for me. I am currently a GS11 Steo 10. The job that I sought was a GS 12.
