I am a teacher and have a shared classroom. A co-teacher keeps plugging in an oil diffuser which triggers me to have severe asthma attacks. I have asked her not to use it anymore. After a severe asthma attack on Wednesday (today if Friday), the school nurse sent out a district-wide email saying they were restricted. My co-worker removed the object before our supervisor could appear and denies it ever existed. She is making me look crazy like I have a mysterious illness, stating she has never smelled or seen anything unusual in the classroom. I have 5 other teachers and several students that can identify and describe the device that I unplugged in front of them repeatedly. Is this defamation of my character? How do I report this to my supervisor?
