Fired while waiting on Covid results

I started a new job in South Carolina on 3/17/2021. The following week (3/24/2021) my boss tested positive for covid and was quarantined for 10 days. During this time, I went to work and did what I could with what I had been taught. On March 26th 2021, I started having a sore throat. It lasted through out the weekend. I went in to work on Monday the 29th (no fever, just congestion) and notified the H.R. lady of how I had been feeling. The H.R. lady and boss requested I take a covid test. I agreed and secured a drive through appointment at a local drug store. I notified my boss of the appointment and kept her updated throughout the day regarding the results. I showed her a screen shot of the portal, showing the results are not posted. She called and said that I have made too many mistakes in work, and I dont need to come back. She never reprimanded me for poor work before. I had very little training before she was quarantined, and she was aware of this. I was exposed to covid at work and subsequently fired while waiting for the results from the test they asked me to get. This has also affected my ability to apply/interview for other positions while I wait for the results.
