Harrasment before last day.

I believe I was harrased at work, because they already knew I was leaving. And then that manager fired me over nothing? I believe he is doing it to other employees should I pursue any legal action to note my incident so other employeees there have a better chance of getting results?

avoidance of liability

it may be that your employer picked a fight with you to give it grounds to fire you and thereby avoid liabiilty for unemployment insurance. go ahead and file the claim. if they dispute your claim, contending they had cause to fire you, you should seek an administrative hearing. if you prevail, i think you might have a claim of wrongful termination in violation of public policy.
if you're in southern california, please call me for a consultation.
good luck
