Do I have a case?

I asked my employer for an hearing acommodation so I could participate in class conversations & learning. The 1st accommodation I asked for did not accommodate me. Employer refused to accommodate me a 2nd time and is expecting me to partake in classes and meetings even though I can not communicate as well due to my severe hearing loss.I did have a DR note stating what my accommodation needed to be,Employer refused.2 months after my request for 2nd accommodation we had a meeting. My employer told me that it is my responsibility to inform my co workers durning class and meetings it im unable to hear.
