4 Months Pregnant & Laid Off

Currently I am 4 months pregnant. Just received notice that my employer is laying me off by the end December 2015, based on the company's financial issues. The lay off affected a group of people. Is it legal in the state of Texas to layoff a pregnant woman? They've extended my medical benefits through 3/31/16, but my baby is not due until the middle of May 2016. Is the company obligated to provide me with medical benefits thru the delivery of the baby?
