Car Dealership vs. Employees
Are there ANY laws governing Car Dealerships when it comes to their sales staff? If so, where can I find them?

the california dept. of labor standards enforcement has special wage and hour laws governing auto dealership sales staff. in particular i recall exceptions to the standard overtime rules. you can find the wage orders on the dlse's website (www.dir.ca.gov/dlse). then look for the particular wage order that applies to your industry. you also can find opinion letters that my help with a particular question.
