Can my employer reduce my pay to minimum wage if there is no policy i signed for quitting/no notice?

After I worked 40 hours I quit without notice. My employer reduced my wages to minimum wage and took pay that was a manual check from what i was owed the previous pay period. Is this allowed in Florida if you quit without notice? There was no policy with this company stating they could reduce my pay to minimum wage. When I contacted my former employer they said that Florida law allows them to do this.
