Can i sue for wrongful termination

I was recently terminated for supposedly violating a saftey policy for threatening the the work place. I made a joke to my manager after a one on one that if i didn't get my bonus I would blow the place up. Laughing and said in just joking. The manager said I needed to be careful with what I say. I agreed and said I didn't mean it like that. She reported the incident and fasley claimed after she told me to be careful that I repeated it three times. This was completely false but it was her word against mine since no one else heard it. I was terminated a week later after the comment i never recieved a warning and had no idea of any policy I actually violated. I do realize now I should of realized how the comment could of been taken but I was in an office where crazy things were said daily way worse jokes and I never meant it in a literal or actual sense. I meant if blow up and be mad I never meant it as a threat. I appeal unemployment and won the case after my managers testimony. She admitted we were discussing my goals and lending that hit that was ensuring I was getting a bonus. She also confirmed that I did not mean it as a threat and said I was joking and was laughing after. I again never meant it in the literal sense and would never do anything to hurt anyone. I was able to collect unemployment after I won the case. It was proven that I did not violate the policy that they terminated me for. I since applied for several jobs and this had kept me from getting one. I received an off from another company and my background check came back unsatisfactory I never had issues with my background checks until the termination. I had a perfect work record, No write up, No customer complaints, No issues with any employees or managers ever, no mental health issues, No criminal history, No reason to think it was more then a threat since it was said laughing joking and not aggressively. I can't find a job yo support my family because of this do I have any legal rights to sue ?
