Posting Blog Articles

Each attorney member can post blog articles. However, only attorneys can post Blog articles. Blog articles are useful for announcing legislative alerts , Member victory announcements and discussing current employment law events. Unlike Wiki articles, Blog article cannot be edited by other attorneys. However, other attorneys (but not Members of the public) can comment on Blog articles.Posting a Blog Article
Go to the mel's Blog tab. Click on "Post a Bog Article." There:
- Select a Category;
- Type in a Title;
- Write the Article (see the Help topic on writing Articles);
- If you want to link to a Document, such as a case or brief, upload the documents using the Document Manager;
- Insert the Document into the Article using the Find Internal Links button (see the Help Topic on Inserting Links); and
- Click on Post Blog Article.
Permissible Topics
Permissible blog topics include anything related to employment law or the practice of employment law, such as discussions of significant cases. Mel Members are encouraged to post announcement of their victories, subject to applicable ethical requirements not to mislead or exaggerate.
Blog articles should be used instead of Wiki articles for matters of current but temporary importance, such as the nomination of a Supreme Court Justice.
