is it unlawful to pay an employer to offer a job and hire someone?
I am afraid that the job offer I've rec'd and accepted is actually someone who has offered to pay this employer (an annual salary amount) to hire me. No proof, and can't really ask the prospective employer since it's awkward.
This is my desperate effort to get out of a currently horrible situation of work harassment that has escalated to harassment at my residence, theft of personal information. I think the fraudulent offer would allow me to leave and minimize problems for the perp(s).
