harassement and discrimination

I am a teacher. My Principal has caused much stress, harassement, and discrimination until I developed ulcers.
I was denied certain privileges and others were given an okay. Remarks made in my present were rude.My health is important to me and due to this Principal I am currently under the doctor's care. What can I do?

You May Need a Lawyer

The first question will be how bad was the harassment? Was there any touching or an assault? How often was it?

Not all offensive conduct of a sexual nature is illegal. The courts always try to figure out if it was bad enough and/or often enough to cross the line.

Check out the information about sexual harassment at a great website: www.workplacefairness.org.

There is a lot of information about what is and what is not considered bad enough to cross the line. If, after reading that, you think you ahve a case, I urge you to contact a lawyer who knows about employment law (not just someone who knows automobile accidents or medical malpractice). I think that most if not all of the Dallas-are lawyers who are signed up on this website are good and know employment law. If you think you have a case, it will be worth your while to pay a consultation fee to find out.

Good luck!
