denial of tenure in retalitation for boat-rocking

I've filed a grievance with our local
supt. because I was supposed to get a
bonus for perfect attendance. They
sent a snotty response to me that was
procedurally late, but it offered me 1/2
of what I'm supposed to get as per the
contract, saying I'm part-time and thus
don't qualify, but I certainly do. If
they retaliate and deny me tenure when I
am eligible next year, can they get away
with it?

Retaliate for what?

It is going to be hard to link
a denial fo tenure with a
grievance over perfect
attendance. Who will be the
witness?
