Withdrawing from the hiring process during unemployment

I live in North Carolina. I was laid off a few weeks ago and just had a first round interview with an employer that I think I would hate. If I withdraw from the process now before I have the opportunity to receive an offer, would that count as refusing an offer of employment? Would it violate the good faith effort requirement so long as I had 5 other job contacts that week?
