What recourse to I have; been falsely accused of theft.
Work as a Home Health aide. Saw patient on Friday, following Thursday, patient reported that I stole her prescriptions. In the intervening time, several other Aides visited the patient, as did nurses, and any number of family/friends, yet the 'theft' was not reported for several days. think that patient - who is seriously addicted to pain meds - is using me to get refills she couldn't otherwise get - without reporting them stolen. She takes WAY too many and his trying to get her fix my rolling on me. I am INNOCENT, yet suspended without pay and posssible changes pending. Please, please advise
