Unemployment in Texas

I have been working full time as an Administrative Assistant for 2 years at the same company. I have only worked during the day from 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday. I was informed that due the the turnaround coming up at the local refinery, I would have to work night shift, 7 days a week to meet the deadlines that are being required. I live in a rural area and childcare is not available after 6:00 pm here. I cannot work these hours and told my employer this, I was told that I would have to. Can I qualify for unemployment if I quit, since this is a major change in my original hiring agreement?
