Told employer was accepting my 2wk notice early
I gave my employer a 2wk notice because I found a higher paying job elsewhere. My last day was supposed to be today. I was sick over the weekend and had to call off Monday, and I had a sick day to use as well. My employer called me Monday afternoon, questioning my being sick, then proceeded to tell me that they accepted my resignation early. Now I'm out a weeks pay. I want to know if they can legally do that.
