Regional Manager spoke to employees in break room making accusations that I was abusing drugs at wor

My regional manager told employees in the break room that he heard and felt I was participating in the use of recreational drugs at work. This man has a reputation in which people believe what he says. I am a supervisor and feel that after these untrue statements were made that my work performance has degraded due to judgement of my employees toward myself. I contacted HR immediately after hearing this from numerous employees the following day after the accusations had been made. Since then, I had my company laptop taken, felt uncomfortable at work, and now am being stripped of my title. Can anyone give me some insight on what I need to do?
