Pay check

My friend works at a daycare and her daughters attend the daycare. She asked the owner 3 months ago if he could take her daycare fare out of her check every month and he said no. A few months later(this month) he takes it out her check with out letting her know.....is this fare? What would say about this situation?

Deductions from Wages

According to the Texas Constitution, an employer may not withhold monies it is owed from an employee's paycheck without the written consent of the employee. The only exceptions to "thou shalt not withhold" are taxes and child support payments ordered by a court.
Since your friend originally wanted this arrangement, though, I don't see the problem.
The Texas Workforce Commission enforces the Texas Payday Act, which covers these kinds of issues. Your friend might call that agency and get additional information.
