My daughter entered into her place of employment with two other co-workers for on off the clock event. The manager pulled them into the office and fired all of them because he stated that they smelled like weed. Is this legal?

My daughter entered into her place of employment with two other co-workers for on off the clock event. The manager pulled them into the office and fired all of them because he stated that they smelled like weed. Is this legal?

Perfectly legal. Employment in Ohio is at-will, meaning employers can terminated an employee for any reason or no reason, as long as its not for an illegal reason such as discrimination. The reason given is not an illegal reason.
