My company is set to be acquired at the end of this year, do I owe the new company time or money?
The agreement with the previous company was that after completion of the degree, if you voluntarily left you owe the last 2 years of reimbursement. With the acquisition, they are saying that my 2 years has to be paid back to the new company even though I have not accepted any reimbursement from them. If I separate with the new company after the deal closes, do I really owe them the time or money?
