I am full time and my company is going through a merger where we were bought out by an out if state company. My supervisor is asking each member of my team to chose hour reduction (Full Time to Part Time) or be fourlughed due to Covid-19. To be eligible for regular unemployment benefits or Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, you must be unable to work because of COVID-19. You may be eligible for partial benefits if your pay is reduced. Be careful about a rejection of an option to work part time.
