Is there a potential law suit I can file against my manager or the company?
My Manager threatened to take away my shifts when I gave notice that my mom had a heart attack and stroke and was on hospice. I explained to him I was trying to get my shifts covered and that she was on hospice and had days to live. I was threatened on multiple occasions to lose my shifts. He also told me it was my mothers death was an inconvenience to him and the business, while questioning me about where her hospice was and where her funeral was going to be.
